Blue and White Guest Room

Everyone has that one room in their home that just never quite achieves its potential. It’s the door that you close when you have friends over. Usually it’s a Den or an Office. That room can be a bummer to be in or even just to walk past! Occasionally, I get my hands on one of those spaces and I get to give it new life! This particular room I styled in 2015.

Scene: empty guest room. 

Objective: to style it in a way that was consistent with the rest of the house.

I started with a light filled room, an antique desk and a bright blue headboard. The concept was fairly simple: A few beach-y vibes with some fun thrown in (remember that bright blue headboard). After a couple weeks of shopping around and a few DIY projects, this “Blue and White Guest room” came together beautifully.
