Christmas Dollhouse

Networking works! Not that I particularly enjoy networking - believe me, if I could get by just  having to talk to my husband - I would! But fortunately for me, the people in my life are SO SUPPORTIVE that I hardly have to do anything too uncomfortable to meet new clients. This last December I had a dear friend put my name in the running for a Christmas project - the client was looking for someone to update a 1980’s dollhouse for her twin granddaughters. I jumped on this, like I said, I prefer it when other people network for me. HA!

I had two weeks to complete this Dollhouse in time for Christmas. I spent many nights in the workshop sanding, painting and sewing but the Christmas music was turned all the way up and I felt like an Elf. I’m very proud of this little house. I repainted the furniture, made all new cushions and pillows, applied new wallpaper, window treatments and new flooring. It turned out so well! These girls have a very thoughtful Grandmother and I’m thankful to know her. I’m also thankful for friends who connect friends!
